They are multiples of 4

2 should be out as the rest are multiples of 4.

This is only one of the two possible answer.
If we look at it in terms of powers of 2, then 20 should be left out as 4, 8, 16 are all powers of 2.

For that matter, 20 is the odd one out, since it is the only number which is the product of more than 1 prime number.
